Theja, The Caller

Family and Sister of Bazj. A Caller of the Viera and a Record Keeper of her People and Village. Theja always looked after Bazj until he came of age. Teaching him many of the first lessons he would know and use in life. Many years ago, Theja set out from Golmore Jungle to explore the world and make a record of its people and cultures with the goal of one day returning to the Village, should she be allowed to. However, too much time has passed since the day she left and now Bazj has set out, self exiling himself, to find and convince his sister to return to her people.• Bazj has recently located his sister and realized his worse fears had come true. . .

Teyhi, "The Lightning Tamer"

Her presence is unwanted, she talks too much, and her needs and desires for constant...everything; is tiresome.These were the thoughts Bazj had about Teyhi shortly after meeting the Miqo'te. The "Coeurl Girl" had stumbled upon Bazj before he set out on his mission to find his sister, making herself an unwanted companion to the Viera. The two travelled on and Bazj was constantly hammered with questions and things she wanted to do before or after finding his sister. Try as he might to push her away, this women was stronger than he could have ever possibly imagined. It was the night she fell asleep, using him as something to rest on, that made him realize this. The silence of the world when she slept was haunting and the light that had lightened it with a playful voice, had slumbered.

Hooks

Far From Home. . .

Characters that were forced from their home or sought out something more away from the life they once knew will find themselves in the eyes of Bazj. Souls wandering one like another speak to each other in ways others can not understand.

Tradition Over Integration. . .

Characters that stick true to their roots (aka lore) and do not simply integrate into a different life so easily or seamlessly. To change ones whole life so drastically with little to no culture shock is not realistic. Bazj is currently dealing with Culture Shock of his own, causing him to be defensive and even violent. Someone who understands this could possibly help expose him to a new life. . .

Fellow Warrior. . .

"Males live alone, serving as solo defenders of the forest from intruders and evil."Bazj was once such defender, He was talented in combat and hunting. When the Garleans pushed into the Wood, Bazj was quick to act, dispatching a squad by himself. When other Wardens arrived, Bazj had already moved onto the next group of invaders. The young male pushed too hard that day, and ended up injured not long after his brothers caught up to him. Luckily, they were able to patch him up and continue to push out the invaders together. Should a character be a fighter, Bazj would share a level of respect for them simply due to that one fact.

Family First. . .

Bazj is currently looking for his sister, Theja. She had set off from her village many decades ago, vowing to return and expose her Sisters and Brothers to a book filled with writings of different Cultures and People. However, time has passed. Too much time. She should have returned by now. A Character that can sympathize with Bazj's desire to find his sister, will find Bazj to be welcoming and even friendly.

To Tame A Beast. . .

Bazj has only known his position in life as a Defender of the Wood. Fighting and Hunting is what he loves, and all he knows. If he has kits, he does not know for he never returned to the same village.A Character looking for Romance with Bazj would have an uphill battle to fight. A beast cornered will fight back. Do you dare try?

From Enemies To Lovers. . .

Bazj will more than likely clash with those who try to get close. These clashes may develop into a full blown confrontation or rivalry if there is enough kindle. However, Bazj sees and respects power and those who can go toe to toe with him.A Character who plays hard to get and is proud of their power and skill. Much like To Tame A Beast, this hook centers around the passion of two who are driven by a different passion. The passion of combat and the connection that it can create between two different opposing sides.Behind the fire of war, is the burning desire of lust.

If ERP is your only goal, go ahead and head on out. I'm not saying it won't happen, but plot and reason needs to be there for it.

Thanks for taking the time to look at the Carrd and I hope you didn't just jump right to this page! Here's a little bit about me:I have been playing FFXIV for a few years now (the tail end of HW) and been RPing for about that same amount of time. I was never originally into RP until I had started playing this game. Once I started though, I was hooked.I have put an absurd amount of time into Bazj's design and background. I have tried to keep as true to the lore as possible with very little bending. I do not like to break lore, but I am okay with Lore Bending.When I RP, I like to RP in Paragraphs, making sure to pass as much detail onto my partner as I can. I not only want them to be able to see Bazj as their Character does, but also feel how their character does in his presence.
